And I just couldn't keep my favourites all to myself- so here are my five favourite bloggers of the moment! In no particular order...
1. The Naked Vegan Cooks
I first heard about this charming bunch of hippies when I saw a Channel 4
documentary featuring them. Since then I've been completely hooked on their
inspirational, and truly original blog. The blog is all about body
confidence, delicious vegan cooking and just having a laugh- so go check them
out, and tell them I sent you!
2. The Hottentot Apron Blog
No- just because it has the word "apron" in the title doesn't mean this is another cooking blog. Far from it!
The Hottentot Apron blog is run by an anonymous user called Lippy Girl who talks about women's body image and why we should love the vagina, regardless of shape or size. With labiaplasties (vaginal surgery) on the rise, Lippy Girl couldn't be more on trend, and although she doesn't blog that often, it's definitely worth a read!
3. Cristin Terrill
The smart and interesting Cristin Terrill runs a very funny blog about a whole number of things- from discussing upcoming films, what it's like to be an author, to the scandal of teenage vodka tampons. It's a little bit crazy over on Cristin's blog-which is why I thoroughly reccomend you check her out! (Also, she has a testimonial from Gandhi verifying how awesome she is, if my reccomendation isn't enough.)
4. Never Seconds
This super cute blog is written by Martha Payne, a nine year old girl from Scotland. In the blog, she takes photographs of her school lunches and writes reviews of them- it's really interesting, very
well written and also kind of adorable. Recently, Martha (known as VEG on the site) was banned by her school from blogging about her lunches, but after a BBC campaign to get her blogging again, she's back for good.
5. The 99% Campaign
The 99% Campaign blog is a collection of articles written by young people about a variety of issues- whether it's current affairs, politics or universities, the blog posts are always interesting and topical. I write for them occasionally too, but I always keep up with the other contributors' articles as well.
So there you have it- the top blogs on my bookmark list at the moment! Please check out all of these lovely people and their sites- and be sure to tell them that NotAllAboutBoys sent you!
