Well, no. I'm sorry, but 'The Turn of the Screw' has popped into my life once again- but this time, it's not an opera.
We're studying the Henry James book 'The Turn of the Screw' in my English Lit class!
Firstly, aren't I the luckiest damn person alive? I'm studying a story that I know bloody loads about, and I played one of the main characters for a month this year. Still getting over just how lucky I am to be studying it for A Levels!
Anyway, reading the book has got me all nostalgic, so I thought today I'd show you some of the opera-related stuff that I never got round to showing you guys!
Starting with... this interview! Dusseldorf Center.TV came to ask us some questions before the shows started, for the local television station, and I managed to find the clip of it on YouTube!
The kids shown performing are the other cast of children, but if you skip to 2:07 you can see me talking about Flora (my character), and the plot of the show!
I found it really weird to watch this stuff back. It was only a few months ago, but it brought back so many memories, and I realised that I really miss doing the show, even if it was insanely hectic.

The second thing I'd like to show you is this: a video of our curtain call. No footage of the show, unfortunately, but I come on stage at about 0:57 and do a little curtsey for the audience before the full cast does a big bow.
I'll be honest, this video made me cry.
I had quite an emotional come-down after the whole opera experience- after all, it was so exciting and new, doing so much every day, that it's not really surprising that I hit a bit of a low-point afterwards.
The video brought up a lot of that, but I'm still really glad I found it on YouTube!
If you're interested, I expect I'll be tweeting about my A Levels a fair bit, so go follow me on Twitter- @NotAllAboutBoys !
Comment below what you thought of the videos, and be sure to check out my other recent blog posts!
