Yeah you get the idea.
Initially we didn’t think we’d get that many sold but we were honestly amazed by the goodwill of the people there, some coming back repeatedly to buy more and more raffle tickets- until we had overflowing tubs of cash donated to St. Joseph’s!
We also got the chance to sing a few cheery Christmas songs before heading home, tired out from our hard work. The amount of raffle tickets we shifted, seriously, I should enter the Apprentice!
Speaking of The Apprentice (See how I changed the topic there? Subtle, eh?), it’s the final tonight. And whilst I usually end up screaming at the telly, agonising over their every idiotic and ill-thought out progression, tonight’s challenge actually looks pretty tough- designing and making their own online game? And of course, they will be highly frowned upon if they decide to create a violent shoot-em-up, even though that’s the most popular game genre at the moment. Still, I’m pretty excited by the whole thing. Go ZARA! Zara to win!!!
Comment question of the day: Who do you want to win the Apprentice? Or if it’s finished by the time you’re reading this, who would you have liked to win?
