What the project aims to do is to change the negative perceptions of young people by helping them to become more proactive, educated and involved in their communities. The 99 Percent are doing this by setting up a blog on their site- http://www.99percent.org.uk/ which will be written by a team of young journalists about young people’s issues.
It all sounds really great and I’m so excited to be able to do some work for them!
More on that soon!
In other -far less exciting- news, I had a maths exam today. And it went pretty badly. I got stuck and freaked out in my head and ended up writing a lot of rubbish. Gahhh! What a flop!
Ahh mais c’est la vie... (ooh, just look at me being all lah-de-dah and cultural)
I’m moving on: Wish me luck for the Calculator exam next week- My LAST EVER maths exam!!!
P.S. I actually can’t explain how happy it makes me that I won’t have to do any more MATHS. Needless to say, it’s not something that I enjoy.
