I'm staying in a block of flats with all the other children in the show, and our lovely chaperones.
In the first day, we played football with the local German kids, and on the second, we had a rehearsal for the first few scenes. We saw the set, it's stunning- I actually gasped with astonishment as it hit me that this was the set I'll be performing on in just a month's time!
During the rehearsals, we block scenes and make notes- which are incredibly detailed and complicated, as you can see!
As you can tell, they're working us very hard! But I'm loving it. It's incredible, working with the director and the other actors on such a large production- I just feel completely overwhelmed and honoured and thrilled all at once!
Normal blogs will resume in the next few days! (I have a few interesting things planned, so be sure to stick around!)
In the meantime, please feel free to stalk my blog! (I do love a good stalker- especially one who comments on my blogs!)
And be sure to follow me on twitter @NotAllAboutBoys for plenty of #OperaUpdates and all sorts of other fun stuff!
