Well, today was the day of the race, and with basically no training (I haven't exercised in two/three weeks, and exercise before that was minimal), I ran it in 38 minutes - which isn't half bad! I'm really proud of myself, and of my team-mates, who ran alongside me. Also, I'm a tiny bit smug because I came first out of my friends, which makes me feels like I somehow cheated because they actually trained and I just did leg stretches whilst watching 'The Walking Dead'.
Regardless, I've raised about £170 for Cancer Research UK, which is great! Of course, you can still sponsor me if you didn't get a chance to before today, which would be absolutely lovely of you, you wonderful, kind-hearted person.
A massive thank-you to anybody who sponsored me! I know I'll definitely be doing Race For Life 2014 - I really enjoyed it.
