Running 5k feels like a pretty daunting task at the moment, but I've wanted to get fit and active for a little while now, and I figured a big goal would motivate me. I'm really excited to be doing the Race for Life, having signed up with three friends. All there is left to do is to get training, andof course, I need to get some sponsorship.
My personal target is £250. I think it's achievable too - but only if people actually donate. In order to raise money for the incredible charity that is Cancer Research UK, I need you to donate a few pounds towards my sponsored run. It takes 3 minutes to pay by card online, and I truly appreciate the donations!
Again, I appreciate all donations, and in return for your money (no matter how large or small the donation), you will get the pleasure of knowing that you have contributed to the search for a cure for cancer, and the knowledge that as a result of your donation, I will have to do SPORTS
If the thought of curing cancer is not enough to get you to donate, just think of me, puffing and wheezing (and possibly crawling) for 5 brutal kilometres. I will of course be posting photos in blogs to come, for you all to laugh at.
To reiterate: to donate, please pay by card online here - http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/pink-pumas. Alternatively, if you know me, feel free to come up to me in person and donate, and I'll make sure it all gets put safely in the donation tin!
