I literally cannot get away from the question “What are you taking?”. It haunts me- the same deadly dull discussion on repeat.
But it is really making me think. I've been doing some serious pondering about my school year being broken up. Some people may not be coming to our school for their Sixth Form, others are taking completely different classes to me, and some are just leaving education altogether.
I think I’m really going to miss people from school!
On the lighter side of this, I’m really looking forward to meeting my school friends again in ten years time and finding out what they’re doing with their lives. I can’t help but think that some people will have changed so much. Aged 25, a lot of us will have finished studying and will have boring office jobs- stapling papers together and working on spreadsheets. But who’s going to be the millionaire? (There has to be at least one!)Whose life went completely off the rails? Who surprised everyone by going all hippy and running off to India to find themselves?
This is why I play the Prediction Game. Predict how people’s lives will turn out, with your friends, and promise to buy each other a drink in ten years time if you get it right. A long time to wait for a free drink, maybe- but it's fun, I promise.
