Some are frankly hilarious- "Time to get creative and think about recycling! How many uses can YOU think of for an old CD?", some are clearly sponsored, and therefore also hilarious- "May is NATIONAL WALKING MONTH! Could YOU walk to school every day with friends? How about once a week??? Visit www.walk-to-school-or-the-polar-bear-gets-it.com for your FREE stickers amd walking charts!!"
But every now and then, there is one that actually does get me thinking.
Take this week's: "Around 250 billion emails are sent every day. We all communicate in different ways. How many ways do you communicate?" and then it's got a list of ways we communicate below "Email? Letters? Speaking face to face? Landline? Mobile? Texting? Facebook? Twitter?"
I do all of these. But I'm certainly not the most sociable person in the world.
I still, sometimes, spend whole weekends doing nothing but blogging, moping around and watching TV- only straying from the warm comfort of my room for food, drink and the occasional trip to the loo.
So maybe there's one kind of communication that's better than others?
For me, it's just talking face to face. In jokes are so much more personal, so much more fun, and a hell of a lot more memorable than emails or texts!
Comment Question of the Day: What's your favourite conversation starter?
Mine is "Which is better Daffy or Donald Duck?" because you start off being jokey and silly, and then you can have a real conversation!
